The phrase “Site” used in this Privacy Policy means and includes the DRIVESUNG App (“Mobile App”) as well as the websites http:\\www.zensung.com and https:\\www.drivesung.com or any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked or otherwise connected thereto.
The Application stores your account information. This may include your username, name, email address, and information regarding your use of the Site and the Mobile App. The information regarding your use of the Mobile App is transmitted to us and when you use the Mobile App we also receive your location (GPS) as well as data from the accelerometer and gyroscope and time of day, which we use to provide tips to become a safer driver and compute your driving score. We also measure general phone activity (for example, by detecting whether the screen is on).
We may work with other companies to provide you with services and benefits. These parties are collectively referred to in this Privacy Policy as “Service Providers”. For example, Service Providers may include, without limitation, telecommunications providers, insurance companies, wireless service providers, emergency personnel, content providers, and any other person or entity who provides any service, equipment, content, features or facilities in connection with these programs and services. If any of the Service Providers imposes additional terms and conditions on the services it provides, those terms and conditions will be conveyed to you by those Service Providers. Where legally permissible and available, we may offer additional products and services that utilize driving information,including your identity and location. We may use or share this data with third parties to develop and provide those services to you. We will ask for your consent before using personally identifiable information for a purpose other than those that are set out in this Privacy Policy. In addition, services may permit you to share information with third parties. Please keep in mind that once you share your information publicly, it may be further distributed and accessed by other third parties. We expect to use data collected from the application to develop new products and services and to provide, maintain and improve existing products and services. In the process, we may share data with affiliated companies. We or our Affiliates may also share data with third parties in a manner where it is anonymized, aggregated, or both, for any lawful purpose. If we share such data with unaffiliated third parties, that data will not include personally identifiable information about you.
We may be required by law to disclose data collected by the Site to third parties, and all data may be deemed discoverable by third parties and used in accident investigations, litigation or both. You or we may be legally required to provide the data to third parties and their legal counsel. In these cases you should not expect to retain any privacy or confidentiality related to the use of the data captured through the Site.
Certain data may also be exposed via internal and external application programming interfaces. You hereby expressly consent that we may disclose to third parties any data necessary to respond to claims of violation of the rights of third parties and to protect our rights or property.
When you use the Mobile App, certain non-personal information may be visible to anyone using the Mobile App, such as your username, driving score and your approximate mileage. Anyone who you share your phone with will have access to your registration details, driving score, and past trip information. You are responsible for keeping these details private and carefully screening the persons with whom you share the information.
The Mobile App uses location information. For the Application to function properly, you need to activate your phone’s location settings for Drivesung. We use the location information from your mobile device (e.g., latitude and longitude) to tailor the Mobile App to your current location. This information is not shared with others.
Should you decide to delete your account, simply uninstall the Mobile App. If you would like our servers to remove your driving data, please contact support@zensung.com with your information, and we will remove your data. Even after you remove the Application, your information may remain viewable elsewhere, to the extent it has been shared with others, or was copied or stored by other users. If you change smartphones, you’ll be able to reinstall and continue using the Mobile App.
This policy is subject to change at any time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make material changes in the way we use personal information, we will notify you by posting an announcement on the Site or sending you an email. Users are bound by any changes to the policy when they use the Site after such changes have been first posted.
